God bless your valiant soul for venturing out in this ominous date, thank you for being neighborly and for celebrating this Halloween.
I know that strangers knocking at your door and demanding trick or treat is kind of daunting. Here I'll give you some some ideas that might help you out, if you found them a hindrance disregard them and write to your heart content. As a general rule I'm really most interested in the canonverse, so I’d appreciate a story about that rather than a crossover or AU; but, don't worry if you can't, please. Also, this is the link for my handy exchange list, so you could know me better:
My List. In any case, these are some general guidelines:
General Likes
* Fluff
* Domesticity and slice-of-life, including curtainfic
* Hurt/comfort
* One-sided love (without pinning)
* Competence kink
* Characters passing
the broccoli test.
* Care-taking as evidence of love
* Cuddling and bed-sharing
DNWs
* AUs, most particularly, mundane AUs.
* Gore, I'm ok with violence but not with lovely descriptions of splattered blood or insides
* Scat, 'nuff said
* Harm to minors
* Blood play or Knife play
I'll try to not burden you with a an effusion of feelings, requests and demands, but I have some prompts and that's because these five shows hurt so good in the best way possible.Trick me or Treat me, I'll love you anyway.
The Borgias (2011)
Cesare Borgia (Borgias)
Micheletto (Borgias)
So many water under the bridge and I still love these two. In one hand, these two bring the worst of the other out; In the other, their relationship work in so many levels to me. I would read Cesare fic, or Micheletto fic or Cesaretto fic. Run wild with it!
- On the treat side: Planing murder together; Valet service (ritualized disrobing, drawing a bath, combing hair); Free time together; Shared meals.
- On the trick side: One of them is haunted; Somebody threw a curse to one of them; One witch is real and one of them angered her; Some murder victims don't know how to lie still in their graves.
The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Illya Kuryakin (2015)
Napoleon Solo (2015)
I know this is an OR exchange, but I wanted to let you know I'm not adverse to shippy fic if that's your fancy, and I'm perfectly ok with a character-centric fic if your muse guide you that way.
- On the treat side: Their competences mesh together beautifully; One of them shows at the precise moment to save their partner and their mission; They need to huddle together for warmth.
- On the trick side: Mission goes SO wrong; Their past came to haunt them; Mission goes derailed by a ghost or a zombie or something along those lines.
Leverage
Eliot Spencer
Alec Hardison
Parker (Leverage)
Though I don't subscribe the OT3 interpretation, I love the three of them one by one or in pairs. I love them as a competent team and as awesome friends.
- On the treat side: They need costumes to fulfill this mission; They need to save a kid; The mission took them to a derelict house or an ancient churchyard.
- On the trick side: They can't finish this mission: they can't fight supernatural menaces; They must retrieve a haunted object; There is a mishap with the equipment.
Addams Family - All Media Types
Any character
Words cannot express the love I have for this fandom. Is there any thing more perfect for Halloween than The Addams Family?
- On the treat side: Gomez and Morticia being so, so in love; The kids enjoying the holiday; Party at the graveyard?.
- On the trick side: Outsider POV; The kids had grown up and they are struggling with the modern world; There is a haunting in the house and it's not fun.
Original Work
Original male cowboy (OW)
Original female cowboy (OW)
Original cowboy cook (OW)
Hey, cowboys spend a lot of the time away from civilization and the have some of the best scary stories (Check out Ghost Riders in the Sky, Caballo Diablo and other classical cowboy songs for inspiration). I added the Cowboy Cook because that's a truly essential job for their survival so play all your cards here!
- On the treat side: Survival after a catastrophe in the trail; Love in the open spaces; Telling tall tales by the camp fire.
- On the trick side: Stampede!; That animal is possessed; We though we found a treasure and we put a curse on ourselves.
Original Animal Rescuer(s)
I love Animal Rescue stories because they mostly have a happy ending, you can watch some if you type Animal Rescue in YouTube (warning: some will make you cry). I have utmost respect for Animal Rescuer but they deal with some messed up things.
- On the treat side: Happy rescues and forever homes; A rescuer returns to this world for a last rescue; Ghost mama makes sure their little ones are safe before crossing over.
- On the trick side: This rescue is dangerously scary; We can't save this one; I think this is not a dog, at least not one of this world.
Thank you, lovely neighbor. I promise not to finish it in one go (Do you believe it? I hope you did!)
Happy writing and happy Halloween!
