God bless your valiant soul,
First of all, let me express my gratitude and admiration to you, as a writer, for choosing to write rare pairings. I'll try to not burden you with a an effusion of feelings, requests and demands. I can't help being a spoiled brat.
As a general line I'm really most interested in the canonverse, so I’d appreciate a story about that rather than a crossover or AU; but, I understand you are having a rough time just by putting your hands in one of these pairings: Don't worry if you can't, please.
Here I'll give you some some ideas that might help you out, if you found them a hindrance disregard them and write to your heart content:
My List. Also, as you could see by the time you finish this letter, my bulletproof kink is Master/Servant and since there is so little, you can't go wrong with this in the sense that if you write anything I'll be eternally grateful. I'm a
lover of unequal lovers, I can't help it, here are some
prompts if you choose not to write explicit slash (which is fully welcomed, by the way).
Now, to the fandoms:
Les Trois Mousquetaires | The Three Musketeers - Alexandre Dumas
The fandom of my childhood that I resist to let go. My OTP has been Athos/Grimaud for a long, long time, maybe because it was the first. For this pair, anything would be right, even curtain fic. You have great playground here, tell me how Grimaud sees Athos behind closed doors or how he took the moving to Bragelonne or how demanding it was to him to have Athos’ friends over day in, day out, and there is always that fortnight in the Golden Lily's cellar (Chapter 27) which is my great frustration, since I have written 17 versions of the scene over the years without finding any of those satisfactory...
To add some variety, I would like to see Porthos as a married man; I always had a soft spot for the widow of the late Coquenard and that 20 years gap is fair play. I would like to know how they married life would be, it is obvious that Porthos loved her much. Now, Dumas is horrible when women are the issue, Porthos' wife could use a new view, if you are up to the task.
The Borgias (2011)
I can't offer you variety here, dear author, in this series my main focus is Micheletto, poor soul, so unlucky in his love affairs. Can you give a bit of happiness to this beautiful assassin?
Tell me about the times he was happy with Augustino before he went to Rome, tell me the story of their puppy love and their first discoveries. Alternatively, tell me of how hard it was to him to resist the beautiful Pascal, and how he felt when Pascal read to him and how he felt when he believed this could be forever. But please, don't tell me how it felt for him to kill his boy, I still cry when I re-watch the scene.
Penny Dreadful (TV)
Ethan Chandler carved a spot in my heart from the very beginning because I always liked the scruffy, rugged men of the western stories or because bisexual werewolves make my knees weak. In any case, there is a lot I would like to hear from this man:
- What happened that night at Dorian's house?
- Was Vanessa right about the logistics?
- Can I have more of the delightful flirting between he and Mr. Lyle?
- Was it just flirting?
- Sembene tried to comfort, or at least reason with, Ethan in his bestial form?
- Did he do it after?
- Is my idea or these two had something else cooking in the kitchen?
So many questions, dear Author, go wild.
Le tour du monde en quatre-vingts jours | Around the World in Eighty Days - All Media Types
Another eternal frustration of mine, Verne hooked me young. Mr. Fogg and Passepartout surely had a lot of adventures and yes, I know, in the end Mr. Fogg married Aouda but I'm a firm believer these two could pull a perfect asexual marriage pretty well even with a wife at home. I love Mr. Fogg clarity when commands are the the issue and Passepartout resourcefulness. If you chose this, be my guest to make this pair shine around Aoda, who I'm sure love both very tenderly.
Wow, I can't shut up about the things I love. Thank you for reading so far.
You have my respect and my admiration. Happy writing!
