Score one for the Po-po
YEEESSSS!!! I got my bike back!!! :D
Some may remeber that last year I got my bike stolen at Fleet Week here in SF. As you can probably guess, this was a real bumber for me, specially since that bike was a graduation present from my parents. Ever since then I've been wanting to get another bike so I could ride around again but after getting two bikes stolen in the same year, I had kind of lost faith in riding my bike anywhere in the city. But now, thanks to the SFPD, I ride once more. ^_^ Apparently they were checking people riding really nice bikes downtown and happened to match the serial# on the bike with the police report I filed when it was stolen. And, except for a few scratches and the destinct smell of downtown SF, the bike is perfectly fine. I'm still kind of shock that I got it back but I think it'll sink in when I go bombing downhills this weekend ^_^
