I was sick of drawing in general, but now I want to try once more ! xD

yeah, watercolors are a bit hard to work with, but i use some really small brushes so i can paint small detailed strokes. smaller brushes also pick up less water, so your paint doesn't run everywhere. i also use a paper towel to soak up excess water so that it doesn't run everywhere. it's a lot of experimenting every time i paint with watercolors though xD but i like it because i get to mix the colors to create colors that i want to use without having to buy a specific color, and you can make colors lighter or darker depending on how much water vs ink you mix together. and also you get to have similar outcomes to copic markers, while saving a ton of money, cuz those markers are expensive!

thanks xD i used to use color pencils a lot too, it was my first medium of coloring, but i've just been in love with watercolors, since it creates such soft, blended shading.

Waw ! I REALLY love it !That's totally the type of drawing that I like. I don't use watercolor but recently I thinked a lot that drawings you make with can be very cool ! And that's the case here :D
it looks like some drawings we could see in idol magazines, in the drawing pages (I absolutely love these pages *0*)

thank you! (>///<) watercolors are actually a lot of fun. i wasn't very good with them at first either, but with a bit of experimenting and practice, it's not bad :)

thank you :) i spent many years practicing to get to this level though, and it's probably nothing compared to many other amazing artists out there, but i just do it for fun as a hobby xD i used to be really bad with watercolor too, but i found that if you just control the amount of water you use by soaking up excess with a paper towel, it helps you control it more. it's also better to use smaller brushes for a small drawing like this too.

yup, i always keep some paper towels handy whenever doing watercolors :) but you wanna be careful not to soak up all the water cuz then you won't be able to color if it's too dry xD

thank you xD i have posted a few other pieces of my drawings on here under my "fanart" tag haha, but a lot of my older stuff is on my deviantart, though i hardly get the time to do much drawing these days, and also i don't have enough inspiration either, so it's constant art block orz...
