On the way home, I saw a squirrel jump out of the brush by the side of the road, run in front of my car, into the opposite lane, and straight into a car (while in motion).
Let me be clear, the squirrel did not get crushed by the tires on the car. It ran into the hubcap of the car (while in motion). It was the strangest, scariest damn thing I've seen in a while. Honestly, it was like a mini M. Night Shyamalan movie, but you know, with squirrels.
I assume it broke its neck because after the encounter with the hubcap, Mr. Squirrel rebounded back and landed on the center line. Completely in one piece, no visible scratches on him. Wasn't moving though, not even a little.
Not really sure seeing all this 48 hours before a flight is a good sign.
But I'm gonna go ahead and guess no.
