It's not that I don't pay attention when I commute in, I do...honestly. If you're in the left most lane on 95 northbound between 9 and 9:20am and you're not going at least 80, you'd probably know this. Mostly because I'm tailgating your ass. Pure and simple.
It's just that I don't focus on anything else.
From one exit above the Mass. Pike on I-95 to the route 2 split it should take me 5 to 7 minutes. From there to the I-93 split it should be at most, another 5 minutes. From there to exit 44 (where I get off *unasked for rimshot*) we're talkin' another 5 to 7 minutes.
If anyone of these segments takes longer than that, I become utterly baffled because I'm going slow enough to pull my head up and take a look about.
"Wait, there's a Route 3A as well as a Route 3?"
"Wow, that really large and annoying Home Depot kinda popped up out of no where near Reading."
"The Hobbs Brook Basin? Has that always been there?"
