Somewhere a Mountain is Moving...

People want understanding, right? Sadly understanding just grabbed justification and headed to the nearest bar to tie one on for what's about to happen here. And morality? Morality hasn't been seen in these parts for quite some time. So that leaves you waiting on guilt, or blame, or the mighty hand of god or internet revenge to strike you down...or at the very least publish your social security number. Head or gut, right? Yeah, I know, we'll try to keep from referencing bad Bruce Willis movies again.

So when a fantasy prediction comes to life, written before such a thing was even thought possible...and you become known as the "other" party, what exactly do you do? You could stay silent. Silence is golden. The best answer to anger is silence. Silence is the voice of complicity. You could sit back in silence and watch the hits on your tracker grow as people attempt to satisfy their curiosity or find their own understanding. And who can blame them? Everybody loves a little drama, more so when it's not their own. And we are all honest here, right? Well, when it suits our needs. AmIRight?

You're taught things when you're young. Black and white, good and evil, right and wrong. You spend the rest of your life breaking down / chipping away at these lessons as you find yourself doing things you never quite thought yourself capable of except...well, except that it was complicated. That's what we tell ourselves at least. Because there was a certain circumstance, let me explain the context of this thing that I just took part in, there's always a backstory, yadda, yadda, yadda. But no one is really looking for that, right?

I dunno. I'm not sure how this post ends. Do we want an explanation? Do we want remorse? Some winning lotto numbers? Do you enjoy the silence? Know that I played my role willingly and with eyes open.

So yeah, how about them Red Soxs?
