(no subject)
So I have a small issue. I can't...really get...to Katsucon.

I wrote this post up then hit the delete or something and my retard-ocity with the ways of the mac forced it to hit back, and thus, delete what I'd written - I also have no LJ abilities and thus, I didn't seem to recover it in an autodraft.
So. Basically. I can't skip anymore school, skipped too much already, Katsu falls on my busiest school day, classes till 3pm. That's bad enough, yeah? But then I realized that I had play rehearsal. Play at my school is srzbzness, as in, you do not miss rehearsals. It goes from 3-6pm. That'd let me off on literally the most rush-houry of all the hours, as it is 6pm on the friday of president's weekend. Thus, I will miss the entirety of Katsu's friday...however, I'm still trying to go to enjoy late night Friday/early morning Saturday and Sunday, but I've got a few issues in getting down. So...
Bus: 4.5 hours. 7pm-11:30pm. I think will stop at Union Station? Obviously the cheapest method but...11:30? Union Station? Or the 'Greyhound' station haha. I estimate this means, if I took a cab or something to the hotel, it'd be at the very least midnight by the time I got there. Obviously it's easy to get to Port Authority though.
Train: 2 hours and 47 minutes. 7pm-9:47pm. Stops at Union Station. Not cheap. Also Union Station, and thus, by the time my retard wore off long enough to act, it'd be 10:30 by the time I got there, since I have no idea how to navigate the subways, and I have no idea if there are taxis outside of Union Station. Leaving from Penn though, so simple to get to...
Plane: 1 hour and 13 minutes. Flights at 7, 8, 9pm. Flys out of Laguradia. Cheap. Seems optimal right? Wrong. >[. Enormous issue here? Getting to Laguradia at 6pm. On a Friday. During Presidents Weekend. I really don't think I could get out there (at least an hour), check in (huge lines, at least 30 min), and get through security (oh my god) before even 8:30. If I could manage to get there for the 9pm, and assuming there were no delays, I'd be there at 10:13pm. So...that pretty much takes this option off, even though it was the best as...the airport it flies into is literally like five minutes from the hotel.
So the problem with...all of these is that I don't really have a way of getting from their respective stations/airports to the hotel. I'd take a taxi probably from the plane, but the other two I have no idea. It seems like the train is the best option, but how on earth do I get to the hotel from Union Station? Generally I'd be aok with taking the subway in DC at 11pm but...with a huge rolly suitcase? Lame. :[.
