Book #3: Darkling by Yasmine Galenorn.
Ergh. I am too retarded to function with the computer today. It might be the level of exhaustion I am currently functioning at or the two martini's I have consumed. (Shhhhh... it's a secret!)
So, here is installment number three in the "Ari Rots Her Brain with Trashy Novels" series. Darkling is another one of those books that I picked up across the street at Walgreens. Unlike the last one, so full of nerdy vampire references, this one is more about witches and the fae. That is all fine and good in theory. But I would rather have my witch and vampire books a little separated. (Thanks Ann, on ruining this particular cross over for me for life.)
All in all it was a particularly unremarkable book. The characters blend into all the other characters of Paranormal Romance that I have read, and the plot is entirely predictable. The sex wasn't good either. And if a romance book fails in the sex department, than it pretty much fails as a novel.
Perhaps the next book will at least be a little more inventive.
Also, I need to get a library card.
