I'm going to write a post regarding the books that I've read within the past month and a half, but I don't have the time right now. We're watching Dog the Bounty Hunter before heading off to bed, so I'm going to have to cut this to the quick.

What I love about Dog is that they're always so kind to the people they catch. Like yeah, they go right for the throat in the middle of the hunt, but when the adrenaline's leaked out they talk the people they've caught down. And the best (well, not the best best) is that they deal with a lot of drug addicts and people that are living basically on the edge. Dog and Beth and the rest of the Chapman's try to help them out best they could; this is the second time that they've helped someone out to rehab.

So yeah. I really like this show.

Nothing especially special about today. Worked, ran to the Andover PO to drop off some packages and stopped at the local library for a couple books - Max Barry's Jennifer Goverment (been really looking forward to reading this) and Warren Ellis' Crooked Little Vein. My only exposure to Ellis has been through Nextwave, which I still haven't finished but love what I've read so far. So I'll keep you updated on that.

Well, I do want to mention that I enjoyed Don't Come Back Until You Found It but it's kind of a dry book. It's about antiques; what do you expect? You have to dig through that and listen to a guy talk about his life's work. It was interesting reading, but I'm glad to dig back into the weird detective / mystery vibe I've been running lately.

...though to tell you the truth, I'm on this fairy tale / transdimensional kick. I'm going to see how much of Spiderwick I can find through the library.

Ana and I sat down to do the budget tonight. Whoo! Budgetary!

Speaking of my significant other, she's switched on reality television. Time for bed, I think.
