I've been in fandom for so long that I've lost count of my pairings and fandoms. But I love complex characters who are either multifaceted/morally ambiguous, and/or who experience character growth throughout their journey to become who they are meant to be. Gratuitous sex and violence doesn't appeal to me, neither does love at first sight unless the pair really work at it.
