more biking
Rode to Berkeley Marina and back with relsqui. This was originally going to be on behalf of Berkeley Hillel, and so I invested in about $15 worth of bagels and bagel products. But nobody came, so I gave up after 20 minutes, and froze the bagels. Then realized it was still a pretty afternoon, and I still wanted to go riding, so poked relsqui, and went anyway. Total length, 13 miles or so. Elapsed time 2 hours, including several stops along the way.
Two bad parts, though. First, I punctured my rear tire, running over a nail on Hearst, as we were starting otu. I think the tube is ok, though. Second, I noticed my front brakes are rubbing. I'm pretty sure the second of these requires me to stop by a bike shop. Boo.
