mspa Aradia Megido wiki. [Personality]
It's best to familiar yourself with the Troll species and with how normally ones act and behave. Trolls are an angry species, emotions revolving mostly around hate and pity. Of course, like humans, not all act the same with each personality different from another. Though in basics they understand hate and pity emotions the most, some more so than others.
Aradia Megido was always a rather outgoing and adventurous Troll. She was actually quite happy with her life, enthusiastic thanks to her great love for Troll Indiana Jones which constantly led her to exploring and really living her life in Alternia. Or at least any she could. Her love for the troll movie star led to lots of archeological exploits, archeology making a bit part of Aradia's role. It's because of it, along with the help of the deceased voices that brought her to find the Frog Temple which eventually leads to the start of the Sgrub game. For a Troll, she's quite kind and well-mannered even with the knowledge of where she stood in the hemospectrum. She is considered a lowblood, the second of being the lowest which puts her in a very difficult position. Lowbloods are known to not being cared about at all, like flies that can so easily be tossed aside like nothing. Aradia very much understood where she was, and more than anything accepted that fact. Because she is a Troll, she never worried over the chances of being culled off. It's how life ran in her world. Even if she was a lowblood, she didn't seem to care much about higher rolls in the line. Seeing how her closest friends were higher than her; Terezi for example being a teal-blood, Sollux a yellow-blood, and Tavros an orange blood. Even Kanaya who she spoke with at times, a Jade-green blood. She was also not even afraid of Vriska, who is an azure-blood line.
Her enthusiasm shows she has a very open-minded and fun attitude to things of her interests, along with things she's curious about. For example when she partakes in FLARP, her chosen partner is Tavros and within one of their discussions she comes to learn that he does not play to win but for fun. Those exact reasons are why she plays as well, explaining she isn't really into the treasures and victory but for fun of it all. Of course if victory comes along while having fun, she will not complain at all. She seems to be a very supportive friend, willing to extend and lend help to any of those she cares about. She will also not hesitate to ask of help from any of them if it comes down to it, especially if it will relate to not only their interests but their skills as well. Such as asking Kanaya with giving an outfit to Lil Cal who she found, along with Sollux in help of technology that she found in the Frog Temple. Living in the name of fun sometimes might make her appear silly and even childish, it just shows while she can be mature and relatively easy to talk to-- she is still only six solar sweeps so of course she'll live to have fun.
While Troll culture revolves around the quadrants, it can be seen Aradia is not exactly experienced in this kind of thing. With the fact that she wasn't exactly out to looking to fill up her quadrants right away, when must trolls are expected to before they mature. She may have had either a pale or flushed relationship towards Sollux, but she grew easily flustered when Vriska seem to point him out as her "boyfriend." chances are she would have to ask one of the other trolls for any insights and suggestions when it comes to these kind of feelings.
Everything changes when Aradia was killed during the unfortunate FLARP incident. When Aradia dies, most of what distinguished her as a Troll and who she was was lost after that. Her attitude and the way she thought about everything drastically changes. Her way of speaking didn't change from it's hollow-like way, but her way of seeing things was one would connect with the dead. She was seen as boring, emotionless and pretty much having no feelings for anything. She was just constantly 0k with whatever came to her. Even to incoming failure. She didn't object, reject, or attempt to do much of anything seeing that she really did not care. She will proceed and do what she should, though. Her time in this state came to put her a bit standoffish with a lot of relationships she came to make and have growing up. People she cared about before either had no patience in talking with her, or simply didn't want have anything to do with her with her constant "whatever" air. Like just mentioned, she was just really boring and a "drag" now that she was dead.
Truth be told, now that Aradia was dead she just didn't remember anything about her emotions before. She can't come to remember how any of them feel, or if she should feel differently about something that comes crossing before her. She just feels empty, an empty shell. You can't make the dead feel any emotions, it's just not how it works. You couldn't even anger her or remind her any strong emotions she may have felt before, such as her death being payback from Vriska for the little stunt she had pulled on the spider Troll after what she had done to Tavros. She was more than okay with her death. Even though Aradia had forgotten how emotions feel, that didn't mean she entirely didn't care about some of her friends anymore. Such as with Sollux, as she states that she would like him to be happy since he seemed angry and sad a lot. But it's really a reminder that she herself has forgotten what they may feel like.
Eventually Equius makes her a soulbot, which was a robot that was able to contain her soul once it entered and take hold of as a body. At first, she didn't really seem to change much except she soon begins to feel emotions. It was a bit weird for her, after having gone so long not feeling anything so it was simply new. As she was adjusting to this new body, she came to realize that Equius tried to program feelings for him in her. Which she reacted violently to, showing she does in fact gain emotions. The addition to these feelings in this body just came out more violent and psychotic than before. Emotions that easily overpowered her as she proceed to beat up the other troll and then kiss him. The violence in the anger and the kiss could be compared to the acts of hatred, which was not a surprise seeing in a Troll. It's not just that, Aradia seem to be gaining some control of her newly found emotions again.
While she was pretty much okay with everything as she was dead and didn't care, it definitely changed a little after gaining a robot body. Not long after she continues her responsibility that comes to her roll. At the same time, taking to the acts of revenge. Dead, she really did not care, but now with strong emotions she was going to get her revenge on Vriska for having led Aradia to her death in the first place. She begins to violently attack the Troll, leaving her to her death and only then feeling satisfied getting her payback. This shows that when it comes to the higher bloods of the rankings, if the moment asks for it she will stand up to them despite being a lowblood. She won't take any from someone who treats her friends wrong, or really push her off the edge. Her feelings for those she cares about still remains of course, as they never left even when she was dead.
Finally, Aradia was brought back to life after her dream self was killed on her quest bed after Bec Noir burned up Derse. After her soulbot had gone and exploded, removing her soul that was inside, she can once and officially say she finally feels alive. She has risen to God Tier mode, and her personality from before her death is more or less back in tack. Except being the fact that Aradia truly feels alive for the first time, unlike before when she was back in her planet. Her attitude is even more fun and enthusiastic, even if she's talking about depressing topics as seen when she discusses with Dave about him having died. It's not to say she doesn't pity or feel sympathetic about sad depressing things and the like, she just doesn't see why she would need to grieve. When she can see the hopeful things to come in the future, she knows things will be okay and this is the reason for the purpose of not needing to grieve. So long as she knows things will be okay, she has nothing to worry about. While she is willing to take risks in chances, seen when she faces Bec Noir, she has absolutely no desire to die again and especially not any time soon so she will continue to try her best and stay alive. This proves how determined she is and can be, avoiding chances of that happening.
Just like Aradia has always been, she feels it is important no matter what state she is in to follow through what is to come. And she'll continue to do so, looking forward to the brighter future where her and her friends can meet again and possibly achieve what they always were meant to gain. Her determination and motivation will stick to staying strong so long as she is alive.
[Specialties/Abilities]
Before joining Sburb, it is common for trolls on the lower hemospectrum to have some sort of ability. The higher you are, the lesser chance of one having an ability. With Aradia she was able to hear and communicate with the voices of the deceased. Communing with them, she was able to use them to haunt and torment Vriska. Though after the accident that led to her death, she lost this ability seeing that she was then dead. At the time and even now she's proven to have psychokinesis, which is similar to telekinesis.
Being the Maid of Time, Aradia has control over time. She's able to stop someone in their own time, but how much strength she puts into that leaves her vulnerable as she stays in the position to hold them. It's possible of course to move out of the way, but in doing so she releases her hold on them. She gains an idea of what's to come and happen, knowing what she should do and follows to it. Before reaching God Tier it shows if she ever stepped out of time, doing something she shouldn't then it became a doomed timeline and chances are she'd then get killed. Seeing how she has no reason to die anytime soon, Aradia follows exactly what is to happen. She possesses a knack to entering dream bubbles, aware of the situation and what's going on unlike those within who has a loss of memory in a way. A strength with God Tier is the ability to not die, which almost makes them immortal. Except there is one flaw. If they do anything that will be considered heroic, they can and will die. Not to mention all God Tier seem to have the ability to fly/levitate, so it is no different for Aradia even with her attachment of butterfly like wings.
She also has proven that she can withstand mind control, Vriska being unable to control her. Of course if the person is strong enough, they may have a chance of being able to.. but it's proof that she has a strong will to lower those chances.
[Weapons]
The only time Aradia is seen using a weapon of sort would be her strife Whipkind from before entering the game, otherwise she mostly focuses on using her abilities like her psychokinesis.
SYLLADEX; Aradia's Fetch Modus, the Ouija, is uncontrolled by her. She says that it's "not up to [her] to decide" what she gets from the sylladex, and it is "up to the spirits." She goes on to say how they are sometimes cooperative with what she wants, but are commonly cryptic in their choosing.
[Aradia's NV form]
Crosby top; it has all the functions of text, voice, and video so communicating will be not only easy but adaptable for Aradia being that she has used this computer before.
[Affection] Anything, her reaction depends on who.
[Fighting] Aradia can fight, but she will only do so if the time calls for it. You're free to injure her as it's not impossible, but you cna't exactly kill her unless she putting herself in a heroic situation. She isn't one to invoke fights, not unless there's a reason.
[Other Permissions] Being that Aradia has some psychokinesis, it's hard to read her mind and take control of her. Proven that Vriska is unable to. However, if strong enough there is a chance that you may be able to. I doubt any can fourth wall her?? But go on ahead.
[Other Facts] Anything else just ask!
