[Duet] January 2010
2009 is a fast year, I was stuck on doing drama for the entire time. I'll be happy when the movie comes out. On the other day I saw the first version of Ningen Shikkaku and I thought is this what it looked like. The light went off and while I sit in the middle, a big screen came up for me to watch. It was the first time for me to watch in that condition so I was really nervous that I was hiding my face while watching it. I wanted to watch it quick and in a calmer way (laugh). But after that my tension went up and I was hapy to see that the people aaround me are happy.
It's a special thing to be able to appear in the cover of the original book. Second movie is Seaside Motel, we were in Guam for the shooting. There were four spare hours before we have to go back to Japan so I woke up early and went to do Jetski, parlor sailing, canoe and other marine sports, it seemed that it became my private time, I think that's it about this year (laugh). In 2010 I'm filming the third movie, and it's in the middle of advertising I think. For a moment we went a little bit further for the drama, to rest and to go back of shooting. I want to do a drama! is what my desire is and that is the kind of thing that I enjoy doing.
It's been a very long time since the last time I came to Hokkaido. I lived in Muroran until the age of 2 but lately even my granma doesn't go back. As expected of Hokkaido to be cold! We were there for the location set for one week and it was cold! Now the movie Hana Mizuki that I'm filming is from Hitoto Yo-san's song. I've always done action dramas but this is my first time doing a love story drama. I'm playing as Gohei who met with Saki who is played by Aragaki Yui-chan. The production is about the meeting of both of them while worrying about other things in the 10 year period. I'm playing a role where I will be playing from a high school student then changes all the way until he's 28 years old. I would like people to think that I'd like to meet this person or I wanna fall in love in the same way as they do when watching the movie.
Right, when we were shooting in the mountains, we saw the orion stars falling after. Everyone went to watch but I was lying down under a blanket... I didn't actually see the shooting stars but normally stars are lovely, looking to the sky from the river's bank. It was a good memory.
It's my first time co-starring with Yui-chan but she's the type who does her own things in her own pace, she's full of enthusiasm and a strong person. I think she's a good actress to work with..
