So most likely I'm spending most of today writing this "End Report" to explain where I'm leaving things. I'm basically transcribing my presentation I gave earlier, so it's easy, and the best part is that I've tried to take the pressure off myself... since even when I half-ass things it turns out better than expected, and I never REALLY half-ass anything... So I'm convinced there's no real way I can fail this. Plus it gets to be in english :D Here's my running commentary as I work:
11:15 oOo... intro flowed freely, and I talked to Hélène and found out what I need to do to make my experiment today work just a little better... she forgot another MAJOR detail again, but I didn't catch it either, so at least she thought of it before I left, or messed up another run of the experiment... woo! time to write up first results already!
11:34 ...bleh, who really likes writing figure legends? not this girl...
11:46 ...thank god for other papers to use as a "guideline" for how to make a crappy legend ;)
11:47 Maybe it would be a good idea to save this... its starting to look all pretty and science-like. Although, pretty and scientific papers don't go together usually, I used pretty colors on my graph. But hey, it's my only way to get back at the ridiculous science infrastructure! ;)
12:37 whoops... short mental break and quick experiment work ends up taking this long? oh well, still finished first section, which is the biggest, except for results i should get today and tomorrow. Kinda sad that 3 months of work ends up taking less than a page to describe... or at least the biggest facet does.
work,
