Decisions made for me
It is inevitable that I will find something to do to fill my time, be it being lazy and reading or going on a wild adventure. Yesterday I asked (in french, woot go me!) what would be the best day to go to Chartres, and I got a unanimous, emphatic "Samedi! (saturday)." So in about two hours I'll be walking to the train station and heading out for the little town with the BIG cathedral. should be fun :). Add in the fact that I asked Rita if she wanted to go too, and she agreed (before both of us couldn't help but talk for ages... she's a flash flooder too now after being here a week and a half). So not only am I going somewhere, but I've got someone to go with! How exciting is that? It'll be intersting to see how i do with someone else tagging along, but i think at this point i'm going to be REALLY happy to have another mind to hear my little quips. I've been memorizing things to put down on here... only to get back from trips and realize that unless you were there, it wouldn't be funny.
So yay and all that... should be another fun day, and perhaps i'll get some more shots of myself taken by another human being since Rita says she's interested in photography too. The hardest part will be the "sweet little shops..." there was a minor disagreement about whether i should go shopping in Chartres, where it is cheaper than paris normally, or wait one more week for the sales to start up. That decision was left to me, but I'm sure I have good judgement when it comes to that.
