…and i have not yet even begun to fly!

UGH. This whole travel bit has been a pretty horrible experience thus far. So yah, it’s only been one flight and only 4 hours, but we started off really shitty. An engine valve wouldn’t open so we sat on the tarmac for almost 2 hours. At least it wasn’t too hot, but my patience ran thin quickly. I’m starting to wish I’d paid more for British, but I needed to save the $150 more than have a good flight. The worst bit is that Air Canada didn’t provide ANYTHING for the entire flight. I got a cup of ginger ale. C’est TOUT! Bastards. I’m starting to think that there will be no food on my next flight either. Considering these tickets in general cost around $1000 and I got a student fare, this disgusts me. Money is going to scare the crap out of me this entire trip, even though I should be fine. It just feels like everything is too expensive…

And then there’s the fact that it suddenly hit me that I forgot to tell WaMu that I was leaving. Oh wait, no… I told them… or I told a rather NASTY teller yesterday who rattled off a phone number and seemed offended that I would ask anything other than the simplest transaction. I managed to forget to call since I had way too much to do over the course of the day. And now, I don’t even have my cell (I left it at home since it seemed pointless to bring it) or the phone number itself. DAMNIT. Plus, they made me go through customs here (stupid Canadians) and then i ask someone if I’m supposed to pick up my bags first, and he says YES while someone else says NO and then they drag me through a huge process to find out whether I needed to pick them up. I was right and I didn’t need to but they scared the shit out of me and it was so overly complicated to find out. Toronto’s airport is shitty btw… they don’t even have wireless available (as in I could go on if I paid a bit, but NOOOOOO…)

*grumbles* I think I need to go eat since, thanks to air Canada, all I’ve had to eat is a lousy bagel. Why didn’t it SAY on their website that the food cost money!?!?!?!
