I mentioned last night on Twitter that my foot got stepped on by an 1800lb ox while I was trying to walk him up to the trailer. The ox was a real sweetheart, just nervous because he didn't know me or the farm, and didn't want to get too far from his buddy. I figured I'd have a pretty impressive bruise, but, sadly, not:

Thanks! The funny thing about my nails is, I don't bother painting them, because they tend to get broken around here, and no one wants to eat chipped polish at work. XP So it's just drink my milk and keep them smooth so they don't catch one anything. (Especially the yarn!)

I always end up picking at my nails due to stress, until they're all gone. I can't grow nails even if my life depended on them. xP

crochet scruchies! that's brilliant and epic win!! it almost makes me wish i could crochet. ~_^

Scrunchies are actually really easy to learn! The rainbow one up top is literally just 1 stitch - double crochet - over and over until I couldn't fit any more. No counting, no tricks. XP The blue green one is just single crochet all the way around, and then another 2 rows of single crochet, done side by side - 1 row in the back loop, then 1 in the front. The yarn is really doing all the work, and I could literally not switch up anything and come up with dozens of different looks.

oh but i really can't crochet. my grandma tried to teach me a few years ago and i just couldn't get my brain to wrap around the idea. i followed most of what you said to me, but the actual stitching won't ever happen. (not from me, anyway. ~_^)
