had a productive day off today. didn't sleep in too late, and went all domestic diva. i:
*tidied the kitchen
*cleaned out my walk-in closet
*tidied the bedroom
*did 3 loads of laundry
*cleaned the bathroom
*organized the storage room
*cleaned off the deck
*managed to cull 2 more garbage bags full of stuff that i don't need
*made myself a super delicious dinner. lemon-dill rice, curry-butter chicken with sauteed red, yellow and orange peppers! with enough left over for breakfast tomorrow! yum!
now i'm watching an incredibly disturbing, moving, heartbreaking, amazing docu-drama called sex traffic, about the buying and selling of women and children in eastern europe. it's the north american premiere on cbc (made for the cbc and the bbc), so it likely won't be run on other networks for a while. but if you ever get the chance to see it, i'd advise it. absolutely incredible. i alternate between tears, nausea, and shock. yet i can't stop watching it.
four sleeps until baltimore! three sleeps until seattle! i am going to have such a great time, i can hardly wait!
