(no subject)
I was supposed to see a supplier yesterday but I have dental appointment, so I arrange for the chief designer on the project to see them, which i know is mostly my fault because I didn't remember the appointment before I book the dental one.
This morning I've got this nasty email from this company saying how unthoughtful I was because I wasn't there and only my colleague sees them to discuss the project. I really don't know what they want, since they have talked to the main designer of the project, and he knows more about the technical side of things more than I do. I was really annoyed that they sent that email to me. I mean yes it's my fault for not remembering but I have also arranged for something better........
Then this afternoon they knew that our contractors have bought the fabrics from the company and they have 180 degree change in attitude. This is probably the most annoying part of all.
Gah..........work. I think this is the first time a supplier has done this to me. I mean...I am promoting their products to our clients so they can earn the big money, and I got this nasty email from them. That's just great.
On the other hand...........
It's Chinese New Year on Valentine's Day!!!
I've got a very nice card from my boss (which is very strange - I was away from my desk for a meeting and come back and find this big envelope on my keyboard....sometimes it kind of freaks me out a bit). She is also hinting that she will give out red pockets (???)
We shall see :D
