Well first couple of days on my new course: MSc in Physics and Technology of Nuclear Reactors. Looking at the timetable its gonna be a pretty intensive course schedule, so going to be fairly busy over the year. First day was just admin and general info, with today being the first day of lectures.
First one was a two hour computer lab in Numerical Analysis, starting with using Excel to help calculate simultaneous equations of varing orders; including polynomials of order 2 or grater by using matricies. (I'm sure
rocketeddy would be thinking thats a bit simple and could do it in his sleep)
The other lecture is in Reactor Control Systems, and is going to involve the joys of Laplace Trasformations.
Thats about all I can think of at the moment.....Expect more to come soon!
