Ugh. So we didn't go to the pizza lounge last night, which was probably fairly obvious. We were ready to go for HOURS and then we had to wait for Jereme to get home from work, and then it was late so we thought we'd take a cab to save time. Of course we couldn't catch a cab on Fullerton and when we called no one would come pick us up. By then it was almost midnight, and we probably would've missed your set taking the CTA.
Another Friday night, plans down the tubes.
But I'm really glad to see some more gigs around town - maybe I can catch you at the hideout, I've been wanting to go there!

Flash Cab usually works: 773-561-4444! You should definitely try to make one of the Hideout gigs, we'll need the support and it'll be lots of fun! If you guys aren't ding anything tonight, you should come out to the party, there will be a bunch of people there (including Mike and Stephanie). Last night was weird at the Pizza Lounge, there was this huge crowd of hipsters and no one knew where they came from or why they were at our bar. They seemed nice, though.

As you may or may not know, I'm not a Chicago person, so I will be unable to attend any of your gigs. :(

However, I thought I would let you know that I am currently completely obsessed with Chicago. Since I'm completely obsessed with the book I'm reading (and it takes place in Chicago), my Chicago lust follows pretty logically. Also, I'm thinking of checking out your (future) alma mater for grad school! If I come visit will you give me the grand tour? C'mon, you know you want to.

Come visit! I will totally show you around my school. What do you want to do for Grad School? English? And while you're here, Stephanie can take you around UIC!

Woohoo!

I always find it slightly odd that schools offer graduate programs in English. It's such a broad subject area! I was originally planning on going for journalism, but I've changed my mind... I'm 99% sure that I want to go for creative writing, since I honestly can't imagine anything more fun and inwardly fulfilling. (Nerd.)
