I hope this link works, because everyone needs to watch it. I saw the first half of SNL last night, but then (DAMMIT!) decided to go to bed and missed what happened later on the show. Basically, there was some sort of mix-up in the sound room at SNL which revealed the fact that, yes, she was lip-synching. HA!! I had thought it suspicious, the way she was holding the mic during the first song, strategically placing her hands close to her mouth so you couldn't really see if she was actually singing or not, but I didn't seriously think she was lip-synching, it was a fleeting thought, perhaps I'm too trusting. Well I've learned my lesson. Heh heh heh.
