Birthday Hint #11: Things should go more according to plan.
I have finished less than half of my costume, but I did sew a zipper without a zipper foot. Bit of a trial, it doesn't look that great though. Also due to the zipper being HUGE the underskirt is longer than the overskirt. I'm wondering if I should (/will have time to) do anything.
I need to make the red under shirt, the gold dangly bit and the collar and fix the tail... it went crazy wacky, I think I'm just going to make it thinner, it looks wanky otherwise.
Also the skirt, due to making the meeting ends nice, is now a smidge tight. Which is okay, since I planned to attach bits to make them fasten. Oh man I have the best idea. Wooh, I love me (but this will mean I have to buy things and maybe they aren't available... maybe I should just make it lace up...). Hrm, I bet I have an old bra which I could steal the hooks from. This is awesome. Brain power, it's good.
