I went to the Renaissance Festival again today. It was fun. I got in for free because I went early with Tonnya and Jared so I went in through the employ entrance. I also called Katie and had her come since she had never been there before. Jared's boss, Betty, came up, out of the blue really... and introduced herself and asked my name. I told her and then she said it was nice to meet me, gave me her card, and asked me to come work for her next summer. Whoa. I've never actually been ASKED to work somewhere before... I usually have to beg and plead, and then I still get rejected, that and working at the Fair has been my dream since I was like 8. So that was pretty awesome.
Then while I was back stage getting water I saw one of the girls that ride the horses and do flips on them and such, and I thought that I recognized her… so while I was filling up my cup she came up and asked me if I had worked at the 6 Flags Haunted House last October… then it all clicked, she was a giant doll there. I'm surprised she could recognize me without horns and blood streaming down my face. Anyway. So it was a pretty cool day, I had a good time.
