Class has been going well, it's compressed for the summer semester so I've been trying to stay ahead of projects/reading/etc to keep from falling behind. My two classes are twice a week and on different days so I'm spending 4 days of the week in SF, which isn't all a bad thing.

My photo history class is interesting and the teacher is perfect for it, he has done photography using the old processes and like to work with and make very basic cameras. He likes to turn things into cameras such as taking an empty paint can from a painting site, fixing it up and using it to take pictures of the painters doing their work. Did I mention in the late 80's he turned his VW bus into a camera?
The class is also pretty small and he starts it off with a minute relaxation/meditation and a chapter (which are really paragraph sized) from the Tao te ching.

My digital photography class is quite small (3 other people and only 2 showed up for the first day). While a slightly bigger class might be nice for meeting people the small class will probably be good because there are quite a few assignments for the small amount of time. While it's an introductory digital class, there are still some things I think I will learn from it.
