I haven't updated this in awhile so I thought I would.

Disneyland
In June my Mom, Aunt Sharon, Michelle, Tyler, Alex and I went to disneyland. It was a present (and threat) for Alex getting good grades (the threat being we would go without him). We got up at an ungodly time to fly down. This was Tyler, Alex and Michelle's first time flying. Disneyland was quite fun. Got to go on a lot of stuff that I've been on before, like Mr. Toads Wild ride (which is what has always made me interested in blacklights). As well as some others like the new Buzz lightyear ride. It's like Mr. Toads but setup like a shooting gallery where you get points as you go through. Did all the standard rides. Also went to California Adventure land. They have a nice coaster there, not as good as Magic Mountain but still not bad.
I'm also happy Stitch has become a Disney regular.

Had bright green hair (now back to dark blue), finally got some comments about my hair when it wasn't faded and crappy looking. Especially the funny "mommy, his hair is green" :-D

Disney also goes all out for parades including fireworks almost every night and parades on the ground. The electric light parade,

Family health
When we got back from disneyland Sharron was having problems and visited the doctor. Turns out some of the arteries to her heart were blocked or partially blocked as well as one in her leg. Some of the problems she had while walking on the trip were actually small heart attacks (although not the very dangerous kind). So she got a stint put in, and is now working on not smoking.

In July Papa (grandpa) had a stroke. We flew down to visit him in the hospital for the day. He had some balance, vision and speech problems but nothing too bad. He was lucky he had it when he did, he was about to get on his motorcycle to ride on the freeway. He probably wont be able to ride much if at all, but considering he has had both knees replaced I'm surprised he was still riding. Today he is back at home and has a helper to cook and clean for him (he is probably eating better than he did before).

Animals
I have my own colony of hummingbirds. I put up one feeder, so many came I put up two others around the house. They are everywhere and cute. The males are often territorial trying to protect their feeder and chasing others away, but there are so many this doesn't work very well. So far they haven't ran into me but I've been buzzed a couple times.

We have a new dog for awhile. Ditto, who is smaller than what I'm used to, is a Hound Beagle mix. She is Michelle/Tyler's and is staying with us while they find a new place to live (moving from Orovile to Sac). She minds well, so that is good.

Absinthe
Yes, still addicted. Among other things wrote this dry but hopefully informative piece for the WS, Thujone.
