What is love? Could I see it?

What is love? Cause I’m not feeling it.

People told me love is beautiful,

Love makes you feel wonderful,

Yet I smirk upon those fools,

As they believe in love and lose control,

I choose not to believe in love,

As I know, I don’t need that love,

I used to love but it was only me in love,

I blame myself for trusting that love,

If I don’t need love, why am I suffering?

When I’m all alone, I felt like dying,

My soul is ripping, so heart-breaking:-

Though I tried to hate it,

I’ve been walking on the same lane,

Always on my own, again and again,

Green with envy, my heart cries in pain,

I lived in denial for so long,

I know I don’t need it, yet it felt so wrong,

Love, tell me, where do I belong?

So I’ll happily live and move on,
