Apartment hunting by remote

Allo. Just a quick post as I'm doing emergency room this week. I'm looking for someplace friendly to live when I move to Boston in June/July for my residency. I'll be working at BU hospital, but proximity to friends is far more important to me than proximity to work (since that's why I'm coming to Boston in the first place ;)). If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. My physical requirements are not much- I do come with several stuffed lions and many board games, but none of the more traditional 'pets'.
