I didn't take it too seriously, I just found it somewhat interesting that a year ago, before any of my friends really knew or used the word 'hipster,' they all described as some sort of artsy-90s-chick.
Someone once told me I was a hipster because I have a Macbook, listen to Omaha bands, and had never heard a Panic at the Disco song, haha. And yet, I'm probably the farthest thing from it. People are silly and so are labels. You're you and anyone who tries to fit you into a box because of what you like or don't like is lame.
Hipster is such a loose label. To a certain degree I would say it's acceptable to put people into boxes. As long as I'm not always held down to those standards and expectations, I don't really mind.
I'm not quite sure if that made sense when typed, but in my head it did.
