Since I was granted posting access, I better use it now!
I'm working on the layout design for the actual website as
pyroyale asked me to. She left me a message before she went off in her weekend adventures and there was a mention that there might be more people thinking of one?
I would like to ask all people who want to (help) making the design or want to

I'll probably get stuck somewhere along the way when I'm working on the layout, which will probably happen within now and two hours, haha.
I'm thinking of using white or red flowers in the layout (2, based on the lyrics) and maybe incorporate the moon and all that.. yeah.
Help with coding is definitely welcome! Too bad we don't have a die-hard PHPer among us, it would make things so much easier with adding the messages to the website.
I know how to set up databases and also made my own back-end once (uploading forms for add stuff to the website) but that's a while ago, and I don't think I can do it now. So a simple HTML template that people can fill in will suffice : )
I was thinking that too!
The pictures should definitely be placed as thumbnails with the messages in a fixed dimensions (like 200x200, ex.) And I definitely think it'd be a good idea to divide the messages by continent (Europe, Asia, etc.)
I have an image in my head of what it *could* look like, but for now, I'm concentrating on the layout! Should I at least list you under the coding team? *is going to make a list for reference*

We can also divide the work of who codes which page and all that once the CSS and the layout are solid and standing : )

As for getting the messages on the site, whatever is quick. If it's gonna take days to get a working PHP form then forget it and do it by hand. We can get people just to HTML code the messages if necessary.
I'd also like if the messages weren't separated by region. Include the country in the message. We're all Dears together regardless of country and some regions will be under represented compared to others.
Heeeeee! We have our domain name!

Yeah, PHP is definitely not going to be the solution since none of us here is actually "fluent" with it, so we'll stick to HTML.
I don't know... they need to be separated in SOME way. It''s not that I want "discriminate" other countries by dividing them, but one page with SO MANY messages is not going to be a pleasant read.
There's also this secret tactic they use on websites to sue a max amount of words per sentence to keep people reading, and the same should go for the amount of messages per page, I guess.

Maybe 50 to a page? No organisation just first come first served.

More we are putting messages in the same page, more bigger it's appear for him, and more impressive, but that's only what I think ... ^^
