Website gone? Pretty much...

It looks like my website is useless now.

I went in today to edit a page and found out that every single page on my website has been changed from "pagebuilder" to "edit html code".  Since I can only use Pagebuilder, I can't do anything with the new "html-only" versions.  They won't even open in pagebuilder.  Which means I can't edit a single page on my website now.  I guess if I had five years to spare I could rebuild every single page from scratch, but...  Yeah, that ain't happening.

I don't see how this could have happened.  The only way a pagebuilder file can be turned into a "html-only" file is if I edit the html code.  I've done that for a few pages in the past and know that it automatically deletes the pagebuilder version and leaves a new version I can never edit again.  So I don't do it.  I have no idea how long it would have taken for someone to open every single page on my site in an html-code editor so they all get resaved in that format.  A hacker maybe?  I doubt it.  The pages are still there to see with no new bugs or popups or anything attached to them, I just can't edit them anymore.

I'm pretty sure yahoo did this to me.

[UPDATE]

Yes, it's yahoo's fault.  I had the problem wrong, but it was definitely them.  Check the responses for a link to other people having the same problem.  At least it's not just me.

I just thought I'd share in case anyone's wondering why the website goes without being updated.  If yahoo gets it fixed (for good this time), I'll try to catch up.  Till then, it's sitting there as is.

Kinda depressed now.  I put a lot of years into that website, and a good handful of money, too.  I guess next time I'll have to learn html and keep backup copies of every page on hand for when my webhost decides to screw me over.
