Because I'm hot and tired.
Slept on the floor the evening of the 30th.
Movers supposed to show up on the 31st at 7. They show up after. Done at 3:30, on the road around 4.
Drive until midnight 30. Sleep on the most uncomfortable Motel 6 bed ever. In the history of ever.
Get on the road the next day around 9 in the am. Get to Tukwila around 7ish. Eat, shower go to bed on air mattress. That won't stay inflated.
Run around doing errands. Get internet set up. Get dinner. Go to bed. Same airbed.
Get up at 4am to get in taxi to get to airport. Plane leaves at 7. Plane doesn't leave until...later. Rear toilet leaking. No rear toilet, lines for the lavatory. Woo.
Run to make connecting flight. Just make it. Get to SB around 11:45ish. Get picked up, get food, get settled. Have to run more errands. Have internet. Have a plug for the laptop. Can't have both at the same time. Woo.
It's a billion degrees here and I'm roasting. I remember why I spent most of summer not-here.
