i've never cried from happiness before.
today was my graduation party. my relatives from new jersey (like twenty people) ended up showing up in a big grey hound bus with a sign on it saying 'Congratulations Andrea'. it was such a nice gesture to hear and see them so excited and blowing horns and having '06' boas on in honor of me! it was so intense feeling that kind of love for me. actually it made me cry. i didnt know they cared about me that much.
some friends showed up around five and it was pretty chill, not some slamming party, but i was a little too tired for that anyway.
overall i made out with $2000 dollars and gifts, which is so much kindness. people were so generous. a lot of people surprised me by showing they care about me today. and people who i would not have guessed to either. oddly enough some of the people i banked on didn't show any caring at all.
i am so tired. but i am very grateful for my friends and family. i really am excited to go to providence tomorrow and register for classes. as much as i love a lot of people here, i am ready to go and leave here behind.
