My kidney infection is finally cleared up. Commence celebration! :)
My car has been pulling to the right when I drive it. Thankfully, I'm still under my 30 day warranty with Hertz, so they're checking it out for free tomorrow.
I drove out to the rez today. This means I get compensated for mileage. This means I get a check for over $100.
My boss has offered me the opportunity to go to Seattle and watch him do oral arguments in front of the 9th Circuit. He also said we could submit the student practice forms so I could appear as co-counsel with him, although all I'd be doing would be sit next to him at the counsel table. MLSA would probably reimburse me for the mileage to drive to the train station, and I might be able to stay with Bridget. The train ticket would cost me $300 round trip, or I could use my saved up reward points to go for free (which I wonder if I should save for if I really need them). Is it worth it? Thoughts?
Jadon has nicknamed my car The Oreo. Not sure what I think of it yet.
I've really been able to help this woman I've been working with at the office. I'm not really helping her with a legal problem, but I just couldn't let her and her family get trampled. It feels good to find a solution.
I have a super fun week ahead of me. Friday after work I drive out to Boise to visit Luke and Amy. On Saturday, Jadon flies in from Texas. We stay through Tuesday, leave Wed. morning. I drop Jadon off in Sidney so he can work and head home on Thursday. Friday is my cousin Andrew's wedding. Saturday, Jadon and I head to Minot for the North Dakota State Fair and the Big & Rich concert. Sunday, back to Billings. Summer vacation, here I come!
