Okay, so why did no one tell me that Derek de Lint did an episode of NCIS? I'm sitting here, watching this ep, "Left for Dead", not really paying attention because I'm finishing up my first piece for round 2 of lastficstanding, right? And I hear this voice that sounds really fucking familiar, but out of place for NCIS. Sure as shit, as I look up, there he's standing. Fucked up ep, too...
But I think I'm starting to like Kate Harper Todd the more I watch her... Kinda sexy... Not as sexy as my studmuffin Ziva, but she's not hard on the eyes, that's for sure... And she's a really shithead to Tony, isn't she? Even more than Ziva is. I like that. I like that a fuck of a lot! And an evil laugh. What is it about these sexy women with evil laughs? *swoons*

And in other news... I'm craving Outback. And it's all my TC J's fault. She was mentioning it at work either Saturday or yesterday. I don't actually remember atm. But fuck, now I'm craving it. We don't have the money for it...and shatterpath leaves tomorrow morning for Vangroovy with her mom and sister until sometime Friday, so there's no way I'll be going to Outback this week, even if we had the money...
I finally got to listen thru a copy that someone had for download a while back of the performance of Chess with Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, Adam Pascal, and Kerry Ellis. It was pretty good actually. A decent recording. I'm hoping they release an actual "studio" copy of the performances. And you know, Josh Groban could fuckling sing the phone book to me and I'd be a happy girl.
shatterpath and I made some yummy semi-boiled dinner yesterday. She took care of preparing the brisket Saturday night and I got everything else taken care of yesterday after work. I even made cornbread muffins for shatterpath, because I knew she'd love having them. The food all finished pretty much as she brought her mom and sister home. It was timed perfectly! And they liked it, too. Yay! Go me!
Bev still hasn't popped. We're figuring she's like 2 1/2 weeks overdue at this piont from the earliest possible DOC [date of conception]. And given how these mollies are as prolific as rats/mice, as well as her size, I'm gonna say we're pretty much on the money for her DOC. Srsly? I come down here to the office every single morning expecting to see her tits up... So far, not happening. Hunh...
