An Update...
I think I'm getting sick. This really fucking sucks! I haven't been suck sick all winter. The weird thing? I missed my pills this morning [multi-vitamin, claritin, herbal supplements], and I was fine. Then I took a nap because I'd gotten up at 4am for some damned fucking reason around 9ish and got up somewhere around 11-12ish and felt like fucking shit: lef ear and Eustachian tube sore, sore throat, a little stuffed up, and the back of my throat and nasal passages feel like I've been drinking bleach. I HATE this feeling. It lessens a bit when we went to King's Wok Buffet for lunch, but it's back again. Damn it!

In other news... Bev FINALLY popped yesterday! We have like 60 new dalmation lyretail molly puppies. It took her about 3 hrs to give birth, and looks like a completely different fish now! And the babies are so fucking cute! Now we're not keeping all the babies, not really. If there are one or two really nice looking ones, we'll keep those, but these babies are going to be food for Papi. And before anyone gets their undies all up in a bundle over that, this is fucking cheaper than buying small guppies to do the same damned thing. Bluegill eat other fish, as does our turtle. End of story.
I've got a couple more stories to read before I post my vote for week 6 of lastficstanding. It was an interesting challenge this week, and all I'll say about my story is that I've finally dealt with something that has been fermenting for a long, long time... More on that Saturday or Sunday...
What else? Oh yes... For all of you who are going to say, and I know you're out there, go ahead and say "I told you so" now. *waits while you say it* Yes, shatterpath and I have finally gotten sucked wholeheartedly into the Wicked fandom. I've finished the book and The Grimmerie in the past 2 weeks now. I just need to find my copy of Son of a Witch now, so I can read that. shatterpath is on the fence about reading Wicked, simply because it's quite dark and not exactly her normal reading fare. And it appears she'll be the first one to be writing fic in this fandom, between the two of us. I really like the idea she's got, too. We'll see when I start writing for it. I've quite a few things on my plate as it is, particularly with lastficstanding on my plate.
There was something else, but I'm completely blanking atm. And my OJ tastes like icky grapefruit juice. I blame it on the Coldeeze I've been sucking on...
