Thank god...

The damned calendar's done and over with for another 3-4 months...

The votes have been tallied, the numbers all finalized, the graphics made.

The winners have been announced...

And I will not be doing that type of voting ever again. I was misled about how the rating and tallying would be compiled, which ended up being far more work for me than I really cared to do.

And it appears some people weren't too pleased with this form of voting.

Granted, a number of people didn't understand the concept of best contributor being an author/artist, not a fucking entry! But I fixed that by inputting that particular vote for the author/artist. No problem. Then there was the person who specified an author for a particular entry...that was written by someone else. To be fair, I put both authors' names down for that one.

I'm going to be doing a more in-depth study/analysis of the way the voting went. I was trying to determine what people liked by the way they voted. So far, that hasn't yielded much for me... There were some people whose voting styles were very obvious, and in certain cases, I rolled my eyes at these results as I tabulated them.

Anyway, it's done. And now I can start worrying about working on the next round of the Fragments of Sappho challenge, as well as the winter calendar....
