- First things first... As y'all may or may not know, I participate in the sofia_stillness weekly icon competitions. I would love ever so much if y'all would trot on over here and vote in the Shipper & Monochromatic challenges. No, I won't tell you which icons are mine. That would be cheating, after all. And no, I'm not expecting y'all to vote for me if you do figure out my work. Go vote for what looks good. There are some great people that participate and the best icons should won, regardless of loyalties... *g*
- Work is going rather well. My body's still getting used to this new schedule, particularly after so many months of being on no real schedule. But I actually like my hours. I like the fact that my days are busy. It makes the day go faster. Granted, Sundays are pretty quiet. I do about half the calls as the rest of the week. Saturdays are kind of a crapshoot as to how busy we'll be. I've done about the same calls on Saturdays the past couple weeks as weekdays, but that's okay. I like my team, I like my supervisor [he fucking rocks!]. If I keep my stats up, I'll have a bonus... I'm not getting stressed out by this job like I did at Cingular. This is a good thing. I may well stick with this job for quit a while....
- Buddy is a complete snugglebutt. We're still working on getting used to having a dog in the house, re: feedings & walks. But you know what? It's okay. We still need to figure out how things will go re: the cats, but we'll deal with that as we need to.
- The FemSlash Advent Calendar :: Dog Days of Summer 2007 starts on Thursday. Of course, my first story, you know the Alex/Rachel one I always do, isn't finished yet. Hell, it's not even started yet. But this is the way I always do the calendar. *veg*
Speaking of the calendar, I've got the bulk of the stories in. There are a few people who have been given extensions. And honestly? Extensions on deadlines are privileges earned by being consistent and reliable with me. And every single author that's gotten an extension has definitely earned it...
- Remember when I talked about us getting consignment work for our jewelry? Yeah, we got it. We've got about a dozen pieces in the shop now. If you're curious, check out the website for Perfect World. The shop is great...and we can walk to it easily from our house!
