Black Friday...
Finished up the Alex & Olivia card today with 2885 words [including first time sex! WOO!!!]. And I completely spaced on mentioning the Tauri Tok'ra card I finished yesterday with 1270 words. I guess I didn't add it into NaNo yesterday, tho' I swear I did... Weird... Anyway, this brought me to a grand total of 40630 words and 18 cards. 4 cards, 9370 words, and 6 days left to reach my goal.... That should average out to about 2343 words each, if I don't do a conclusion or expand on anything else....
And I swear, for those on the not-so-sekrit NaNo filter, I'll put up excerpts tomorrow...
So yeah, we went out and braved Black Friday... Why, you ask? Because on Wednesday night, the washer decided to die on us with a small to medium load of towels. So last night, shatterpath did all the research via Consumer Reports online, and today we hit Sears. And got a bad-ass Kenmore washer and dryer set with 15" pedestals. Everything included made it kinda pricey [over $2k], but definitely worth it...and it was the second best option per shatterpath's research, after a Whirlpool. But the thing is, Whirlpool makes Kenmore, so it's all good. They'll be delivered tomorrow, and the old ones will be taken away. They're the new high efficiency front loaders, which'll be neat...
We also hit Michaels, and I got some supplies for a few gifts for people...and a new sort of hobby for me... *veg*
And now, bedtime. For tomorrow, we get new appliances and we go TV shopping, too...
