Bored Now...

  • This is the point where I reiterate how much I hate it when shatterpath is gone for long periods of time, right? She's gonna be home on Tuesday. But it still sucks....

She called earlier today... She broke her phone. She's currently cellphone-less... I've got a bid going on ebay for a used phone, same model we currently have. See our contract is up on 1 July of this year...and I'd like to wait to upgrade the phones till then because we'll get a better discount on the new phones and such. So we'll see what happens...

*sigh* It'll be funny once she's home and we can laugh about it....

  • In other news... Remember when I was doing those 31 aspects of female characters? I'd started that post on 19 April...and finished all 62 prompts by 19 May. How fucking kewl is that? All total, there were 62 prompt [31 general & 31 Sassy], with a total of 19,766 words and an average of 318 words per aspect. The general aspects totaled 8,644 words with an average of 279 words per aspect. The Sassy aspects totaled 11,122 words with an average of 359 words per aspect. The Sassy aspects have been copied/pasted into a file for fixing up and inserting into stories...

  • I'm bored. I can't concentrate on anything right now...I keep going back to playing one of my Luxor games for something to occupy my brain...

  • Our mouse Lizzie passed away yesterday. Kinda sucks... We'll get another one, probably once we've gotten settled in the new house.

  • Speaking of the house... It appears that the second buyer for the farm is still interested. According to what amyrayh was telling me yesterday, things should be rolling and settled by the end of July. We'll see what happens next...

  • Dinner was a simple affair tonight. Chicken breasts with chopped spinach, broccoli, green beans, and sweet white corn in chicken broth...and all in our electric oven/crockpot thingie... Easy to make, easy to clean up...And I'll probably reuse the broth [after straining it, maybe] for gravy for mashed potatoes tomorrow....
