I glanced up from the pictures I was studying to see Warrick leaning in the doorway. "I'm sorry? Share?"
"Yeah, share the wealth?" He sauntered in to stand across the table from me. "It's not my fault I had that stupid court appearance, you know."
I chuckled and leaned over to pat his hand. "You snooze, you lose, Rick. Not my fault the defense kept filing motions for continuances. I mean, come on! Grissom had to go on a vacation sometime and he couldn't very well leave the team to you while you were stuck in court. Nicky doesn't have the leadership skills yet, Sara's too involved in…" I flashed him an impish grin. "Well, you know what Sara's too involved in. And Greg? Don't even get me started on him."
He shook his head and grinned. "I didn't say you were wrong. Just that you need to spread the love a little. Give a brother a bone, man. You've got your fingers in how many cases right now?"
I shook my head emphatically, snorting through my smile. "I've never been all that good at sharing, Rick. Just ask Eddie sometime."
