*sigh* An update...
Yeah, I broke my 2006 streak of posting something every day yesterday. But hell, I did 2 months solid. Tho' the bulk of those posts were meaningless fluff.... I'll have to resolve to doing more substantial posting for the remainder of the year....
So yesterday was my last full day of taking calls for the next month. I do 4 hrs on Monday morning before I start doing my roaming duties. I'm actually quite stoked to be doing this roaming. I think it's going to go a long way toward rejuvenating my psyche/"joy" of my job. I've always kind of gotten off on helping train people, so this is a good thing. And it's also going to remind me of the things that are important in my job. And there's always that bit about not having to deal w/ customers directly for a while...
Yesterday actually went rather well for me. I did pretty damned good on my stats. And considering this month, I'll really only have 2 1/2 days worth of stats to work on, I'm really gunning for doing well again on Monday morning. Hopefully, it'll bring my stats up again for my scorecard. Got a couple of my stats from February on Thursday. I'm gonna end up with a 2 for handle time again...missed the threshold for a 3 by 1 second. *sigh* BUT I got 4 perfect QA scores [I believe all 3 from QA itself were 100s 300s by the new standards] and the other 2 are 275s. So all total, that average should be approx 291. I'll accept a 2 on handle time for what should be a 4 or 5 on QA. And I got a 95 on Reliability, which I always seem to do well on. And I think that's a 4 or 5. Not sure what my availability was, but I think it was decent, so probably a 3 there. So overall, my scorecard for February should be pretty good. Just gotta work on my handle time again. But then again, I'm happy with what I have because of all these fucking conversion calls... *growls*
And also in work news. I was tooling around the job opportunities page yesterday, looking for things to post out for. And lo and behold, what should I see but a posting for P&R. Yeah, guess who fucking applied for that puppy the instant she saw it? If you guessed me, you fucking guessed right! Thanks to sadsadmonkey for that little heads up that the posting would be coming up soon. Many, many thanks.... Hopefully, things will work out well enough that I'll get that posting & go directly into P&R from roaming, and never have to do the phones again.
And I'll take any and all positive energy y'all can send my way so that I get posted back into P&R.
So you're probably wondering why I'm up so fucking early on Saturday, right? [And if you aren't, just smile and nod at the crazy ariestess. She won't mind, really.... *veg*] Well, see, with the roaming on Monday, I start a new shift for the rest of the month. I'll be working 7:30 - 16:30 MTWRF. Which means I have to leave the house at 6am to get to work. Which means I have to get up at 5am. Oh fucking joy! So I basically am training myself into that new schedule right now. Got up at 5:20 this morning [considering I went to bed at like 10:30 last night, when my body's used to 1-2 hrs later]. Gonna get a lot of shit done today and tomorrow while keeping to my new hours....
On the agenda this weekend...
And speaking of crocheting.... March is National Crochet Month. So I'm hoping to do some kind of crocheting every day. Yesterday was the one exception so far, as I didn't take my crocheting to work with me. But on Wednesday I finished a couple of dishcloths for my dishcloth exchange partner, and on Thursday I did another lucky penny keychain. I'm hoping to go thru my yarn/thread stash and my patterns and decide what I'll be working on all month. Might even try to get some birthday and/or Yule gifts out of the way ahead of time this year....
Also gonna be working on some juju-related crafts this weekend. I want to make the little wreath to take into work for at my cubicle....Never hurts to have some calming juju in the workplace....

- Do a food inventory to make meal option ideas before hitting Costco
- Costco run
- Crochet something
- Work on my various ficathon stories
- Work on my licenseartistic pups
