Similar to my free one card tarot draws, I am looking into getting more done with my poetry and original fiction on a semi-regular basis. So I am going to be offering a free poem day and/or free microfic day once a month for people to enjoy.
How It Works
Today's free microfic day will run for approximately 24 hours, from 1000 Pacific Daylight Time [PDT] on 8 May to 1000 PDT on 9 May 2012 ONLY, due to the instability of internet access I have this month.
Everyone who leaves a prompt will get one free microfic in an original universe of my choosing, up to 500 words. You can leave multiple prompts if you wish, and I will choose the prompt that speaks most clearly to me for the microfic. I will work as quickly as possible to get your microfics to you, and will have all stories written over the next several days. There are also crowdfunding perks listed below.
Note :: If you know the Laikhostra universe or the ORIGINAL CHARACTERS ONLY of LWM, you can leave prompts specific to those universes. I will NOT be doing anything with any fandom characters of any sort.
I retain all rights to all microfics posted or linked to in this entry. This entry will remain public, so you can link back to it if you want to share the microfic you've received.
Theme of the Month
To honor Beltane, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, this month's theme will be love and family. You can offer prompts that aren't related to this theme, but I'd prefer sticking with the theme.
Crowdfunding Perks
This is a new venture for me, so I'm going to be feeling my way around the crowdfunding aspect of doing fiction. Right now, we'll go with the following perks schedule...

- Donations :: Additional work on the microfics are available with a donation of $1 per 100 words via the donate button below.
Note :: If you've left multiple prompts, you can request that I work with a different prompt. - Event Pimping :: Everyone who publicly pimps out this event [and can provide a link that I can verify] will get a second prompt filled or an additional 100 words for the initial prompt I choose for your microfic [your choice].
- If total donations reach $25, everyone will get a second story or 100 additional words for their initial prompt filled, regardless if they have donated or not.
- If total donations reach $50, everyone will get a third story or 200 for their initial prompt filled, regardless if they have donated or not.
- If total donations reach $100, all prompts will be filled.
