*thinks* Of the non-self-insert shit [wrote a LOT of self-insert-type shit with the first ex-gf & a former friend], it was probably Troi/Riker. Actually, now that I think of it, it was probably that weird "The Test" that I wrote as a reactionary piece to the ST:TNG ep "The Host", which was Troi/Riker, Beverly/Odan, and Beverly/Riker, with a possible hint of Troi/Riker/Beverly.

Dude, I feel like this with every new fandom. But the first one I wrote for public consumption was ST:TNG.
First fanfiction writer I collaborated with:
*thinks* This chick named JeriKat, back when I was in the Voyager fandom more. There was some sort of weird flirtation thing going on between us, which got us to write this Janeway/7of9 story called "Into the Fire", then all hell broke loose and she went psycho on me. I still have the story on my hard drive, but she disappeared from the intarwebz, so I don't think the story is posted anywhere anymore. Which is okay, as it was kind of a crappy story. Though I'm now tempted to rewrite it and make it better...

I don't remember anymore. It was a video for ST:TNG, that's all I can remember...

*thinks* You mean, besides the first ex-gf and her weird brand of fannishness? Hmmm... I was going to say Lorre, but I met kadiluv in person before her. Actually, there was the guy I kind of flirted with in college, the one whose doddering old wizard always got teamed up with my Amazon warrior in our D&D games [and the havoc his faulty memory would wreak on me!]...
