"I've Heard It Said..."
I've finally finished reading Out of Oz as of about 2 hours ago. I've been a sobbing mess pretty much ever since then. Actually, from about 50 pages from the end, to be honest. And I've had "For Good" on repeat for the last hour or so.
Suffice it to say that Gregory Maguire's fucking incredible writing, storycrafting, and characterizations have pushed both Katherine Kurtz's Deryni universe and MZB/Diana Paxson's Avalon series down to #3 & #2 respectively in my favorite book series ever.
I'll post more later, once I can properly write up a review of this book. For now, I'm just gonna continue to wallow in my Gelphie love and mourn the end of this series. Fic shall also commence as soon as I can be coherent enough to get my muses to work with me...
