Today I am grateful for the Philomath library... and Lorre [again].
We hit the library today so that Lorre could return some stuff, get new stuff, let Will on the computer for an hour, and let me get some wifi on the netbook. No worries. I like going to the library. It's fun and has a great vibe to it.
I'd been planning to get a book, so that I'd have something to read when I finished my reread of Imzadi [and I need to remember to write up some sort of review for Imzadi II: Triangle before I forget]. So, as I was working on stuff online, Lorre comes over with a very self-satisfied smile on her face. She has Out of Oz in her hands. It's just there in the library, not on hold, not checked out, but THERE.
Yeah, bitches, guess what got checked out for me? 564 pages of lovely Ozian goodness for the Spotty to savor. When she brought it over, Lorre said, "I know what you'll be doing for the next five days." And you know, I do have 9 days until I head back home, but I'm totally gonna try to finish this book in the five day "dare". That's only about 115 pages a day… I can totally do that!
And now, when I get online next, I need to cancel my hold at the Bremerton library, since I won't need it. Though part of me says to get it anyway, and reread it. *heh*
*squees and does the happy butt dance just like she did repeatedly in the library today*
