First off, thank you for playing this year! I've participated in this ficathon since it started back in 2004, and have always enjoyed both sides of the coin in this. I look forward to receiving your story with the giddy anticipation of a child waiting for Christmas morning.

While I know you will write what comes to you, and I sincerely hope you have fun writing the story, I just thought I'd mention a couple of things for you... I know these are purely optional, but I like to give options anyway...

Fandom-specific notes ::

• Glee :: I included a lot of pairing options here, pretty much in the order of what I'd like to read. My only requests are that your story not go over PG13 if the characters are under 18yo, and please no adult/minor relationships.
  
  
• Harry Potter :: I really only have one OTP for femslash in this fandom. I don't know what it is about this pairing, but I am absolutely head over heels for them.
  
  
• Leverage :: :: While I am good with anyone on this show, I have a not-so-secret lust for Sophie Devereaux. Any combinations involving Sophie, Parker, Tara, and Maggie are good in my book...
  
  
• Poltergeist: the Legacy :: I really don't expect to get this fandom, but I always ask in the hope that my author will be someone who knows the show or is willing to take a risk with my #1 favorite. I'm all over Alex and Rachel and can easily admit that they are my all time #1 OTP.
  
  
• West Wing :: Ainsley/CJ is my OTP. I've gotten into Ainsley/Annabeth in the last few years, which is an amusing and fascinating pairing to play with.
  
  
• Private Practice/Mad About You crossover :: Honestly? I'll be impressed if I get this one at all. It's a totally personal pairing that I'd love to see because Kate Walsh and Suzie Plakson would be HAWT together...

Basic notes ::

• Nothing OOC. That really, really throws me out of a story faster than anything but bad grammar/spelling. Seriously.
  
  
• None of this "if they were in high school/college together"/written as kids stuff, UNLESS it actually happened in their canon [like Glee]. I HATE it.
  
  
• Babies/children are a toss up. None of my couple options have kids, tho some of the women listed are moms/daughters. I'm not necessarily looking for it, but at the same time, if it's done tastefully, I don't mind children/babies fic.
  
  
• Focus on the pairings I requested, please. These are the ones I really want to read. In the areas with multiple pairings, I've given my preferences, but write with your preferences among the options.
  
  
• Big No-No Plots :: high school/college AUs ; non-con ; song!fic ; OOC ; easy answers
  
  
• Big Yes-Yes Plots :: the use of realistic magic/spiritual beliefs ; kink ; sex toys ; intelligent discourse ; personal growth

And yes, I know this probably looks like I'm really fucking picky. In some ways, I am. But at the same time, it's totally your choice to follow or not follow what's written here [with the exception of the incest thing, which really bothers me]. I just thought this might be something to help you out with ideas for the story you'll be writing. Feel free to peruse my journal to get more info. I really don't hide much....

If you're someone that knows me, you probably already know this about me. And you probably already know what I like. And if you don't know me, or aren't sure about something, ask the mods to ask me. Or, hell, ask
shatterpath because she knows me and my likes/dislikes very well.

And really? Just have fun with this. The fact that you're signed up and willing to play along is awesome with me...
