What a day!

Dayum!

Srsly! Dayum, yo!

I spent the better part of 10 hours today cleaning out the updating backlog for ShatterStorm Productions, the update can be seen here.

Now granted, the last hour or so of that was updating the pages for the FemSlash Advent Calendar :: Dog Days of Summer 2009. This is our 10th calendar, which is cause for celebration as far as I'm concerned. All past contributors have been emailed to participate again, and if my count was correct, there have been 69 contributors over 9 calendars. That humor of that number does not escape me! If you're at all interested in joining in on the femslashy goodness, check out the rules on the sign-up page! We'd love to have you join us! The more, the merrier! And, as has been stated previously, there will be prizes for all participants, but that information won't be released until a later date.

I got no writing done this weekend, but the spectre of that huge-ass backlog is now gone. Granted, there are still some things I need to update yet, including the Light, Water, Muses stuff and my & shatterpath's fic. But that's something I can work on yet...

We made chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with bleu cheese, gravy, and brussel sprouts for dinner. So yummeh!

I don't want to go back to work tomorrow. I just have no desire to be there, whatsoever. And it's getting harder and harder to find the motivation. I'm gonna be checking w/ J & P tomorrow about references so I can start looking for something else. Supposedly the local credit union [which is right down the street from my work] is desperate for people for its customer service dept. And supposedly, they will snatch up people from my work in a heartbeat. I do believe I'll be checking that shit out....

And I'm still having issues with the whole Amazonfail thing. I'm working on getting my wishlists moved to B&N, Borders, & Powells. The minute I do, I'll probably be closing out my Amazon account. I'm not seeing much happening officially from Amazon to deal with this, so I'm not really impressed with them at the present moment. That may change, granted, but still...

work, personal updates, writing, ssp updates
