Books Read in 2009

I really liked doing this last year, so I've decided to do it again... And hopefully, I can beat last year's total of 28 books read.

So this is my list of 2009 books read...

• Stuart Little by E. B. White
  Reread to the millionth degree! My mother gave me the "trilogy" for my 8th birthday and I fell in love with all three books pretty much instantly. I decided in November to get myself a set of them again [thank you, ebay!] because my original sent was lost. These books are the literary equivalent to comfort food to me, and I'm SO fucking glad to have them in my possession again...

And my list of books I want to read yet [ie. my reading list]

• The Secret Teachings of Mary Magdalene: Including the Lost Verses of The Gospel of Mary, Revealed and Published for the First Time by Claire Nahmad, Margaret Bailey
  I actually started this one last year, but didn't get very far on it...
  
• An Enchanted Life : An Adept's Guide to Masterful Magick by Patricia Telesco
  I got this book from lupabitch and am working it through it slowly. I'm a sucker for Telesco's books, have been ever since I read her A Kitchen Witch's Cookbook, which I really need to start using again. And this is a nice "Witchcraft 201" book, as opposed to all of the 101 books out there. There are definitely things I can work with in this book, and that's a very good thing.
  
• People of the Masks by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & Micahel Gear
  Srsly? These books fucking rock my socks! I will have this entire series in my personal collection, preferably by my 40th birthday. I'm already like halfway thru this book and completely and utterly sucked in. Poor little Rumbler and Little Wren! *sighs*
  
• The Ode Less Travelled: Unlocking the Poet Within by Stephen Fry
  This is all racethewind10's fault. She showed a vid a while back with Stephen Fry and this book was mentioned [if memory serves correctly]. And then it was showing on uber!sale on Amazon.com, so I got myself a copy.
